Adopt
Did you know that having a furry friend in your home lowers blood pressure and increases endorphins that relieve stress and uplift your mood? Be a hero to one of our heroes, adopt today!
Foster
Borrow a friend! If it's not the right time in your life to add a new furry family member, do you have any extra room on your couch? Our dogs need to acclimate to a family setting, and fostering gives them a head start on their journey.
Have an extra bathroom or spare room? Our kittens need very little space but getting them out of the shelter environment helps tremendously!
Transport
We have a consistent need for transportation of animals. This could be to and from vet appointments, or for their "freedom ride" from the shelter in the South. Send us an email at theherorescue@gmail.com to learn more!
